When a family acquired a six-bedroom villa in one of Dubai's most prestigious communities, they wanted art that felt as considered as the architecture itself — not décor, but an art program developed from scratch to live with the property for decades.
The clients had a clear vision: the art in their new villa should not feel purchased. It should feel made — specifically for this house, this family, this moment in their lives. They had seen too many high-end residences where the art felt like an afterthought: gallery prints placed by an interior stylist the week before handover, framed and forgotten. They wanted something different.
The brief that emerged from our first consultation was straightforward in ambition and demanding in execution: create an original art program for the entire villa, from the entrance hall to the master bedroom, from the dining room to the outdoor terrace. Every work to be original. Every work to respond to its specific space. Every work to last.
Before a single brush was lifted, our creative team spent time in the villa — studying the natural light at different times of day, the proportions of each room, the palette the interior designer had established, the views from each space, and the way the family planned to use each room. Great residential art is never conceived in isolation; it is a response to a place and the people who live in it.

— The clientsThe centrepiece of the dining room commission — a large-format work in oil and genuine 24-carat gold leaf — demanded the most technical execution of the entire project. Gold leaf on canvas requires absolute control of the ground, the gilding adhesive, the burnishing process, and the protective varnish sequence. Done incorrectly, it reads as a craft project. Done well, it transforms.
The work was created over three weeks — the gold leaf phase alone required seven sessions, applying and burnishing in small sections to achieve the continuity of effect across the whole canvas. The result: a surface that shifts from deep amber to near-white as the viewer moves across the room, and catches candlelight during dinner in a way that no photographic reproduction can fully convey.
Every work was delivered and installed by our team. No third-party couriers, no self-installation guides — white-glove, room by room, checking proportions, hanging height, and lighting interaction in situ before the final positioning was fixed. Where works required specialist fixings for a specific wall construction type, our installation team sourced and fitted the appropriate fixings. Every piece left level, lit, and ready.
